Every time a visitor loads or scrolls a collection page, Cartlyzer fires an API call with live session signals: product views, hover events, scroll depth, and cart history. The response reorders the grid within 200ms, before the next render cycle.

The tag collects behavioral session signals: page views, hover events (element and duration), scroll depth, add-to-cart events, and collection page navigation. No personal identifiers are collected or stored at the session level. Full data handling details are in our Privacy Policy.

Yes. The merchandising rules layer runs after the AI base ranking and takes explicit precedence. You can pin specific SKUs to the top, exclude low-margin items from reranking, force clearance to the first row, and set collection-level exceptions. Rules are configured in the dashboard, no code required.
Revenue per session on collection pages is the primary metric Cartlyzer tracks. We do not optimize for conversion rate in isolation because that metric can be gamed by surfacing only the easiest conversions. Revenue per session captures both conversion and order value together.
